I’ve spent my career working on small teams at progressive nonprofits, which means I’ve done practically every type of comms work there is — writing, editing, storytelling, social media, website management, media relations, digital advocacy, graphic design, fundraising, and more. I value working with down-to-earth, diverse community-based organizations.

I believe in the power of organizing and collective action and am committed to challenging systemic oppression. I see communications as a tool for advancing social justice.

One of my core beliefs is that those most impacted by injustice should be centered, listened to, and learned from. As a communicator, my role is to amplify and support those voices. Driven by this conviction, I co-founded the Story Sharing Network at my current organization to ensure families in our programs have maximum agency over their own life stories and that informed consent is obtained when sharing these stories.
